Obama-gate - "Executive Privilege" keeps His Birth Certificate in safe

Two days ago Chris Matthews said the most obvious statement and declaration for 2011.... would be for Barak Obama to just go ahead and show his long form birth certificate. NYTIMES poll states 23% of Americans are not sure where Obama was born and 20% feel sure he was not an American. I hesitate to claim this but I agree with Christ Matthews.... go ahead Obama show your long form of your birth certificate, and while you are at it, let's see college records, social security numbers, childhood friends, Harvard Thesis, passports, "also-known-as" (aka), and anything else that might give us transparent background on who Obama is.

"Obama-gate" regarding his birth certificate is a matter of LAW, not opinion or feelings.

Quite frankly, I am happy that we finally have an man in office that to many represents African Americans, just as I would be happy to one day have a female in the office of President. I do wish for my friends who are black Americans that he was a stronger conservative, Biblically minded person that would leave a godly heritage for them to esteem. If we had an female American president I would be so happy if she was a feminist in the line of those listed with the Susan B. Anthony website.

Anyone who knows me personally can truly speak to this as being a truth in my life. I consider all people to be a human being created by God. And I even go further to state we are all of one race, the human race, decedents of Adam. So race is not nor ever has been a reason for me wanting to see Obama release his hospital signed original birth certificate.

Unlike many Americans, I have been to Kenya myself. I served on a mission team three years ago. Joyfully staying in the home of the Kenyan pastor, being part of a nightly community sing fest (even when I was dog tired from carrying huge stone, large metal bowls of sandy rock wet cement and filling bags of sand from the bottom of dry sea beds).

I have had the privilege of playing with the African children, going to their simple mud and concrete schools, making necklaces, puzzles, doing dramas and telling stories. I have sat underneath trees with smiling citizen of Kenya that shared with me how much they pray for America. Totally blown away by the unconditional love shown for me through the eyes and arms of the people in this lovely country.

The Greatest Blog Ever

Do you want the greatest blog ever?

I have been taught by many very knowledgeable people "in the business" a few points:
  • Keep it Short. When you write a post keep it under 400 words. "No one reads anything long."
  • Stay to the point. Don't ramble. Pick a topic and stick with it. No rabbit chasing. Focus.
  • Make it applicable. People want to read what they can use or relate with for a purpose.
  • Ask a question. If you end with a question, you are more likely to receive comments.
  • Give away something. People love contest and love to win something for free!
  • Post Regularly. People are more likely to read your blog if it has a scheduled date for publishing.
  • Stay with your blog theme. People will sign up for your blog if the theme interest them.
  • Keep post positive and encouraging. No one wants to feel beat up or ready to fight after reading it.
  • Proof before you post. Reading your blog out loud to yourself is very helpful in catching errors.
So, those are some of the best rules I know. If you use all of them you will have a pretty successful blog. You might even end up with the greatest blog ever!

Now don't expect me to follow those rules or use my blogging as a good example. I can't keep it short... I ramble.... I tell details no one probably needs to know or cares about. I let my heart pour out "on paper". I am not sure I ever really have "a point". I really just like to talk and share. I figure there has to be a few good points in what I post somewhere. I am known by my family as someone "who will talk to a lamp post" if no one is around or listening.

I try asking questions but most of the time my readers feel it is a rhetorical question to be pondered, not answered. I seldom have something I think anyone would be interested in getting even if it was free, and when will I have time to run a contest? Read on and you might get to be my first contest winner!

I have a full schedule. My personal blogging just doesn't happen to make it to the top on a regular basis. And while I love encouraging people, I also like speaking the truth, which can sometimes not come off as uplifting to all readers.

And finally, proofing! Ugh! I am always so excited to push the "publish post," giddy that I finished it and can move on. I would be much more professional in blogging if I would hold on to it for a second or third read-through before I publish. But now, it gets embarrassing, because I am a copy editor for a magazine, so I must improve in this area. (as I laugh to myself - how did I become a copy-editor???)

Lighting Little Candles - Hanukkah

Jesus Is Love - God Is Love - Jesus Is God
So, I being a "eager beaver" or a "bird brain" thought I would breeze through writing a snappy article about Hanukkah... you know that simple little holiday Jewish people do around Christmas time. It goes on for 12 or so days and they give gifts to their children so they don't feel so left out during Christmas time, or so I thought. Yes, it has been around a lot longer than Kwanza (something I NEVER heard of until 10 years or so) but isn't it about lights and gifts and having your own holiday, too.

Well, back to Hanukkah, the candle lighting holiday. God always has a sense of humor when we think we know all about something and we can be sure if we are His child He is getting ready to feed us a little humble pie.

Thank God, I love to research, dig, and uncover the first original documentation to be most accurate as possible in my writing. I know I will make errors in writing but I want to the best of my ability to try to be factual. Last year, I put "truth-teller" on my business card under what I was/do.  This year, I adjusted one of my titles to self-proclaimed "historian"! I am not sure which is worse.

Anyway, I read, read, read, read, read and felt I was drowning in Hanukkah history and stories. Who would know different stories floated around?

One emphasized freedom-fighting sons of a Levite priest who would not allow sacrifices on an altar in a little town called Modin in the hills from Jerusalem. His five sons were warriors, trained to fight in combat, and who overcome the letter of the law of not fighting on the Sabath which was being used against them in the worst slaughters by the torrential wicked King of Syria AntichousIV (Who renamed himself Antichious The Great One while the people called him Antichous the madman) the occupying ruler of Palestine during 160BC.

This version of Hanukkah says after this victory and the temple in Jerusalem was cleansed, a re-dedication of the temple was observed for eight days which was the usual time of the popular Sukkot feast missed over the reign of King Antichous. The people rejoiced the victory of Maccabees to regain their religious and political freedom (the name meaning "hammer" given to Judah the priest son who lead the rebellion - also the reason for the years of fighting to be called The Macebees Revolt).

The other version of Hanukkah focuses on the "miracle oil" the tradition passed down orally and written in 300 AD in the Talumet, Jewish history and views recorded in a book. This story tells about how at the rededication by  Macabees of the Temple only one day's amount of oil was found. With the rededication taking 8 days, and it also taking 8 days to make new oil, God miraculously multiplied the oil to last the entire eight days.

While both are wonderful godly reasons to remember the days of The Feast of Dedication, it can be complicated and confusing for someone like me so new to Hanukkah to figure out what this holiday is all about.

9/11 was an Attack Against God
Today Most Jews and particularly Messianic Jews (even some Christians) celebrate Hanukkah as the remembrance of the miracle oil. It would probably be a great addition and balance to always recall the Maccabean Revolt victory for religious freedom. Throughout  time haters of God, led by Satan have tried to snuff out His chosen people. The thought is if people who believe in God are killed than God will no longer be! Which is a total flaw in logical and truthful thinking. Believing in God doesn't make God any more real than believing in gravity creates gravity real.

Christian share greatly with the suffering and persecution, particularly around the world in communistic and Muslim countries. Jesus was hated, killed, but not murdered... He laid down His own life for the love of all people to be reconciled to the One True God, I AM. Jesus is God's Son, the one and only Messiah of God, and the only Begotten One True God. Jesus is also the stumbling block for most to coming to God through God's only provided way to know Him personally.

All people need to be respected and cherished. No prejudice can be tolerated in God's Kingdom and His Church. God is not a respector of persons.  He chose to teach us about His love and desire to be our God through the Jewish people, but it was never to stop with the Jews. God always desired Abraham to be blessed so he could be a blessing to all Nations. People of all Nation can be adopted and grafted into the family of Abraham by God through belief in Jesus as the Messiah.

This winter, no matter if you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza or a combination of any, look to the one true God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, who can become your personal Lord through believing in Jesus as His Son, the Lord and the Messiah! We all have a great reason to celebrate Jesus in this winter season! Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year in 2011!!!

Blending Family Traditions

First Generation Christian Families have a unique opportunity to establish meaningful family traditions. Coming together to become one, the husband and wife bring traditions from two differing families, particularly if one or more are non-Christian. Blending family traditions and creating your very own can be both exciting and intimidating. Communication is the key, not only listening to each other’s words but being sensitive to the unspoken, the language of our hearts.
God Is The Center of Our Family
Guilt and shame are often the first thoughts that come to my mind when I hear “family traditions.” Before I had children, even before I married, I longed for happy, meaningful, family traditions. My childhood home had multiple horror stories associated with holidays and the traditions my family kept. Each year we also had a variety of violent abuse from my father, triggered by the slightest unpredictable incident. Drinking, mixed with midnight mass, fear restraining tears, and one to two packages for each of us under the artificial tree was always sorrowful.
Is it any wonder, I had great hope for creating my own happy holidays? The smallest family tradition in love and peace would be heavenly compared to my previous experiences. After my first year of marriage I was longing to strike out on a new path, to start my own merry holiday memories with my husband of six months.
Unfortunately, his parents had their own ideas about how holidays are to be celebrated. No new traditions would be tolerated from the wife of their only son. Lights around the driveway, on the gutters and a few glittering trees greeted us as we drove up. Stockings hung on the mantle next to the plastic holly decorated candles and two or so holiday gift boxes taped but unwrapped lying under the small sparse-limbed, artificial tree.
Football games filled the hours before and after the Christmas Eve party that rotated among the three homes of my husband’s mom, her sister and her niece. We opened the gifts, chatted for a little bit around the football games on TV, and after having dessert we headed home.
Being a new Christian, I desired to celebrate Jesus’ birth, to sing hymns that caroled His story, to attend a candlelight service at Church, to listen to the Bible story of Mary, Joseph and their new baby boy, Jesus. My disappointment and sadness troubled my husband who struggled to see why I found fault in his family. This contention brought great division to our marriage, and seeded disunity in our relationship for almost two decades.
He loved his parents and lived to please them. He was torn between his commitment to his wife, and satisfying his parent’s holiday expectations. He figured the best way to make it as smoothly through the holidays as possible was to ignore me and carry on his family traditions. It was easier to have an upset wife than a tearfully, heartbroken mom.
After our children were born, I was determined to see them experience Christ in Christmas. I bought advent candles, countdown calendars, nativity statues, illustrated Christian Christmas storybooks and fun caroling music. While we decorated our home in simplicity, I censored items to make sure no Santa items entered our home. I wanted Jesus to be the center, not a big old man with a red outfit and a white beard.  We also didn’t feel comfortable about lying to our children about Satan coming to our house.
We still traveled to my in-laws and celebrated their Christmas. They resisted our wish to have a Christ-centered Christmas, and resentment developed into bitterness about our desire to remove Santa from the grandchildren’s holiday.  I was viewed as the troublemaking wife wanting to destroy their family happiness. Instead of innocence, peace, joy and thanksgiving, our Christmas’ became an odd blend of contention and passivity.
Select Traditions for Your Family Together
Sorrow pours out of my heart as I see clearer than ever how Satan stole our Christ-centered Christmas joy. I’ve never noticed before how Santa and Satan share the same letters and look so alike next to one another. This odd comparison makes me wonder, even more, if Satan isn’t behind Santa stealing Christ from Christmas in so many families. So, how does one redeem generations of meaningless holiday traditions from one’s family line?
Grace! Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection are expressions of God’s grace. We don’t deserve to be reconciled to God, but He chose to give us an eternal gift through His son, Christ Jesus. When we have Jesus, all of the presents, decorations, and traditions pale in comparison. Families are blessed through creating traditions that teach generations the importance of the birth of Christ, to ensure that the message of Jesus is given to following generations. Remembering is God’s purpose for traditions, and therefore, it should be ours.
In the end, each, husband and wife, need to  determine what is the best of their own family’s traditions that they long to see continued and what new ideas can be added to celebrate holidays. Conversations about holiday traditions must be mutually honoring with a heart to compromise, and prayerfully seeking God’s will for your family.

Narcissitic Personality Disorder

 Everyday it seem President Obama stirs up more hatred, division, and takes credit for all good throughout the world.

I just heard Obama on a staged Youth Show (On Demand Comcast - Barak Obama's own channel) take credit for helping the Chile get the miners out of the mine. I think I am going to loss my mind. Pray, p[ray, pray.

Look at this description of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.... How do you think President Obama rates?

  • Believing that you're better than others
  • Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness
  • Exaggerating your achievements or talents
  • Expecting constant praise and admiration
  • Believing that you're special and acting accordingly

  • Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
  • Taking advantage of others
  • Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior

  • Having a fragile self-esteem
  • Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional
In my option, he scores so high... he could have his own sub-category made.

Go To The Back Of The Bus

Do not ignore what is happening these days in America! Educate yourself! Be aware. 

Obama's legacy will certainly be one of hate. No president in American history has ever so hated so many American people in general as a group as Obama. He hates people who are not dark skin, if they don't also hate America for the dark skin people being oppressed by the white.

Yesterday, Obama speaking about Republicans and those voting republican rallied, “It's time you sit in back of the bus”. October 26, 2010. Clearly he is using such rhetoric to stir up racial tension, to insight activism, to anger racially motivated minorities to fear that a day may be coming when they again will be forced into submission, oppression, discrimination.

Sadly, Obama is so isolated in his own world of belief he can not even hear his own words from other view point. He does not display the ability to empathize. He can not think like Americans. He can not understand liberty and justice for all. He can not force himself to say endowed by our Creator. He can not believe in anything but "eye for eye" mentality based in punishment, revenge and hate. Please listen closely to his words, listen behind the way he phrases his words, the pictures he conjures up and the words he will not say, the words he drops from our Creator-centered documents. Clearly, this is the way he has been speaking his entire lifetime. This is the real Obama, he is not having a slip of tongue or a misspoken thought.

Truly, I did not ever believe in my lifetime or in American history that we would have a leader as President with such venomous hate for people not in the same thinking of himself. Be warned this is the behavior of a Narcissist. He is in the mold of Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Husein, Tao, and many other murderous dictator leaders.

The spirit of America, of love of God, Country and Mankind will rise and be victorious but we must act now.

So what can we, Americans, do:

  • we must rise above Obama's hatred; love your enemies is strength not weakness. It is much easier to hate. While not capitulating, we must move in forgiveness, mercy, love, and equal justice under common law.
  • we must vote him and anyone who aligns with him out of office, voting for people who will go into the fire of Congress to be a friend of the prophet Daniel, who will not bow or worship any man but only Jesus - the one and only true God, the God of love, justice and mercy. We can not remain neutral. Not voting is a vote for the one who is currently in power.
  • we must speak out against his words without speaking in anger, violence or hatred. we must be heard. we can not be silent for fear of retribution or persecution. We can not let someone else speak in our place.

  • we must be vigilant to come to the aid and show loving support to individuals and groups that are fired, demoted, denigrated, belittled, accused, made an example, etc.
  • we must pray continuously that hatred and violence is not stirred up among the populous or those who are still applauding, rejoicing and bring approval to his message.This is not a ploy by flesh and blood. We are in a spiritual war, that must be fought in the spirit. Be aware that demonic fallen angels are following the lead of Satan. All wickedness is being poured out on our Nation. 
  • We must confess America is not as innocent as we make ourselves out to be. We have opened the flood gates of sin... murdering babies in the womb, tolerating sexual immorality, rampant with porn, child abuse, and slave trade of children/teens, teaching their is no Creator God, etc. We must take spiritual stand and NEVER give the ground God has already taken. We must pray in boldness and in the spirit, enabling and empowering Spiritual Angels to fight, guard, and cover when necessary.
  • we must be willing to stand in the gap, to hold back evil, to be prepare to defend  our Constitution by all legal means given to us by our founders who prepared the Constitution for a day like today.
Do not loose hope! Obama offered false hope and so many people desiring a good future followed him as though he was a King or a god. He is neither, and this is why his hope is empty, a bag of hollow bones, a trap to fall into ignorance and hatred of those not like-minded.

We have real hope! Hope that has stood the test of time. Hope that will continue for eternity, because the object of our hope is not a policy, person, economic condition, etc.  God is the object of our hope. God will be faithful. Study His Word, pray, speak, stand, support, vote, be alert and on guard in spiritual armor.

God will speak and do when He is ready, we cry out to Him in repentance, reconciliation, and righteousness.

If you read this and you fear, question who you have chosen to be your Master. In God, who is love, Perfect Love cast out all fear.

Islam: Religion or Nation?

The headlines of the Murfreesboro, TN newspaper, The Daily News Journal, "DOJ: Islam is religion" is surely a catchy hook title that will sell papers, but is it accurate?

U.S. Attorney Jerry E. Martin of Nashville, made it clear, to him, it is "quite simply ridiculous" to not treat Islam as a religion. He is expressing his views because there is a case currently in court about whether Islam is a recognized religion, due to Muslims (in Murfreesboro and beyond) want to build a huge Islamic Center of Murfreesboro (52,000 square feet!) on the corner in a one of the town's residential areas. Yes, yes, there will be a little mosque surrounded by a ball field, swimming pool, meeting convention halls, and so much more... like a little Islam City.

Is it normal for a US Attorney, of the Department of Justice, to publicly comment on a case currently in court? I thought they usually waited until the case moved up to higher courts to keep their bias out of lower court decisions... maybe that is only in non-Islam cases. I don't know, I am not a US Attorney of the DOJ. He should know what he legally and ethically should and shouldn't be doing. (forgive me for running on that bunny trail of thought)

But still, I ask is it accurate to make a defining statement that is only a partial definition? 

No, it is not! A forensically sound definition is a complete and accurate representation of the word.

So let me state this as complete and accurate as possible without being simply ridiculous, Islam is a religion and it is a Nation.

Does that sound familiar to another religion word? Yes, Judaism. Judaism has been described as a religion, a culture, and a nation. All of these descriptions have some validity. In the very same way the word Islam can be defined as a religion, culture and nation. The similarity of Islam and Judaism ends here, because no matter how much people like to claim Allah and Jehovah are the one same God, any Muslim or Jewish believer would sharply disagree.

But concerning land rights within the USA for a religion, Islam has a MAJOR difference to all religions I know... The laws, rules, cultural teachings of Islam do not legally fall within the boundaries of our Constitutional Laws. Judaism of today, even orthodox Judaism, completely rest within the boundaries of the USA Constitutional Laws.

So the question should not be "Is Islam a religion?" The real question to ask: "Is Islam Constitutional?"

Mild, maybe even moderate might be, but orthodox Islam is NOT! There is no difference between extreme Islam and orthodox Islam in practicality, one just sound not as fringe to the faith as the other. The truth is when Islam as commonly practiced today throughout the world its rules, laws, and teachings are completely unconstitutional!

Clearly, a faith that does not abide by the Constitution in the most grievous of ways, limiting personal liberty to the point of death, beatings, and mutilations (kind of hard to miss these happens almost daily in the news).

We are a Nation of Law, and our most cherished national law is found in every word of the Constitution. Let us ask the real question that matters: Is Islam Constitutional?

Now, that is a question I would like to see the Supreme Court take on for a constitutionally sound decision... right after they determine if Barrack Husein Obama is legally a citizen of the USA... another important issue being skirted by the courts today.

Living Life in the Zone - Scores High!

Kyle Rote Jr. and Dr. Joe Pettigrew, authors of Living Life In The Zone, have written a book worth buying and reading. In the times we live in when authors are trying so hard to have a wide audience appeal by being spiritually all-inclusive and encouraging easy believism, it is refreshing to read a Biblically sound well-organized and very informative book for men. The book is a 40 day spiritual game plan for men. I guarantee it will be hard to find a man that wont be able to relate to the topics, sports stories or solutions for practical daily needs.

This book hits home fast with focusing attention on the first day with making personal time with God. I love a book that doesn't beat around the bush and take 30 chapters to slowly sneak in that the goal of the book. This book is clearly written to help men develop a real personal relationship with God and to live a life of sacrificial obedience to Him. The priorities of wife, children, friends follow in proper order as the book precedes to work through every aspect of a godly man's life.

This book is not a soft ball throw to encourage a casual Christian or cultural Christian. The authors used Scripture, real life testimonies, practical teaching and probing questions to help men apply the lessons taught. I highly recommend this book to any man that is wanting to get his life in order according to God's plan!

The Executive and The Elphant Book Needs Warning Label

The Executive and The Elephant is a book written to leaders aiming to not only help them identify problems they personally have in leadership but to teach how to resolve those problems. The information given in the book is very up to date with the latest developments in neurobiology, psychology and trends in pedagogy. The core theology taught is very old Hindu faith being newly discovered by author Richard Daft on a trip to India and blended with all sorts of other doctrine, spirituality and philosophy. He quotes Apostle Paul's teaching in the Bible, Chinese Zen Masters,Gandhi, Lord Buddha,and many others.

If you are looking for a religious faith, and will to try any idea that passes by, instead of seeking for truth, and a personal relationship with Creator God, you may have found your perfect book. If you consider yourself a Christian believer, even in the mildest degree for you this book should have a big warning label: Caution This Book May Mislead or Delude!

Richard Daft tries to breath new life into the ancient, but inaccurate, believe that within each person are two competing selves, two voices within as the angel and the devil or the one of passionate pleasuring warring against one of thoughtful reason. His intentions are good. He is trying to help executives become better leaders, but his philosophical model of how to become a better leader has more variety than a pot luck dinner. The odd combination of all these teachings lead the reader down dangerous paths of false religions that end only with creating within a self-disciplined sense of false security in one's self.

Be certain each human has a drive within toward selfish, pleasurable passions but don't be deluded it is not a voice within. It is sinful fleshly desires that do not improve with body relaxation, repeating mantras, meditating on a good thought, focusing on a candle light, or variety of techniques to discovering your inner witness. Richard Daft misleads his audience to think they can become wise in their own eyes on their journey toward a higher mind (intellect) that may one day lead to connection to divinity (becoming one with God or in reality being god). At this point one has arrived, and he notes that very few ever get to this level.

This book is not a executive leadership book. It is a book full of worldly philosophy and false teachings that will lead its reader away from the One true Jehovah God and toward a self-actualization of false religions. Do not be duped into thinking this book is anything but one mans desire to share a religious faith he discovered and is marketing it as executive leadership training.

For a Christian reader, it is heresy filled to the brim with eastern religion, anti-Biblical teachings, and introductions to many paths that lead away from Jehovah God.

A very disappointing book, and honestly I can never understand why publisher waste ink and paper on a book filled with complete lies. What is most disappointing is this book was given by a CEO of a Christian publishing house in Nashville, who also teaches  Belmont Universities MBA program, asking for book reviews!

Help me understand why a CEO of a Christian Publishing company would want to be associated with such a book.

Stand in God

I received an email this morning. A local neighborhood is being burglarized. The crimes are increasing and the criminals are becoming more brazen not caring if someone is home making family feel scared, especially stay-a-home families.

Prepare for War! We are Spiritual Warriors!
My certain response is "We need to stand in God"! I am asking concerned family members to come together in a spirit-filled prayer walk.

This was my letter of reply:


I think those who are interested (including children) need to gather quickly and go on a prayer walk through the neighborhood. It would be nice if we make little door hangers to put on each house front door knob and to tell them we are covering them in prayer. I would be glad to make these.

"In the name of Jesus and by the blood of Christ" is the prayer request to the Lord. We need to be bold and go before the throne, and ask God to send His Warrior Angels to guard and protect this neighborhood.

I strongly believe God gives and Satan takes. What God has given we do not need to surrender to Satan. The battle is not ours but it is the Lords. As His children we need to stand on the ground that is rightly God's and let Satan know we are not let him strip from under people's feet.

Also, we need to pray against organized gang, and crime groups that may be setting up in the area.

Personal Testimony: Two weeks ago I was driving with my children back home from the orthodontist and on the stop sign for our street someone had black spray painted a logo of some kind on the sign. I knew immediately it was a gang marking of territory. I was NOT going to stand for a gang taking my street or neighborhood.

My teens were scared that their "nutty mom" was going to get them killed because someone was going to see me go to the stop sign and clean off the paint marking. I told them I was not afraid and that we had God on our side, that we never need to surrender ground that is already ours to the enemy, but we need to stand in God's name and hold it. (This battle is not only physical it is strongly spiritual).

I gathered my supplies (rag towels, paint remover, a spray bottle with water) and started walking to the street sign prayer spiritually for covering and calling on the warrior angels to descend to cover the area and to protect me and our family.

Yes, this Jesus freak was lifting her hands in the air and vocally calling out in the name of Jesus and by Jesus' blood to protect our neighborhood from gangs.

As I turned to begin my work on the stop sign, I was startled. The paint marking was gone! I for a minute thought I was loosing my mind. If my children had not been in the car to see the marking, I would have thought I just had lost my mind... I was thinking "wasn't this the sign?"  "was it another stop sign" "no, I know it was this one".

I put my supplies done and reached up to inspect the sign touching it. It was perfectly clean, not one single speck of paint, and it looked like it had never been touched.

I praised God and went home and told my children. One went done to inspect the sign to make sure I wasn't crazy... and to try to find a logical cause of how the sign was cleaned... he came up with his theory that another person got to the sign and cleaned it before me... but I knew... The spirits (angels) were empowered through prayer of man (in this case a old mom (women)). What is ours and Gods we must not surrenders ground to the enemy.

It has been two weeks and no paint markings have appeared again. Praise be to God! He is faithful. He is our protector. The battle is His. We just need to stand in His name, and let Him do His work.

I hope this testimony encourages you to stand were you are and to boldly go to the throne of God and make your request to Him be known. We are children of the King! We must never forget who we are but more importantly we must never forget Whose we are!

The Word of Promise Delights

The first Bible I picked out for myself over 26 years ago was a Thomas Nelson New King James Version, and I have always loved it. I was so delighted that The Words of Promise New Testament audio was the NKJV. For people unfamiliar with this version of the Bible it is a translation from the work of the original King James Version that has created the standard for Biblical accuracy.

The poetic and familiar phraseology loved by many die-heart KJV fans will be surprised to know the NKJV holds true to words translation and syntax. This is very important to many who love to hear the Bible as they have known it from childhood, or at least since they have been a Christian.

This set of audio CDs are amazing quality, so enjoyable to hear with some of the best trained voices that not only transmit the words of the Bible but often the passion, and emotion, and life of the Word.

I highly recommend this set of audio CDs. Anyone who loves God's Word or who would desire to give a love one a gift of life this would make an excellent gift.

I Can SEE!

Teenagers struggle with a phenomena deteriorating their vision.  The sensory input of their eyes do not compute brain activity into producing willful action. Many teens have been reported to say they didn't even see to begin with and therefore their brain was unable to pick of the visual data.

I have found a solution in my home that is working with astonishing results. I am using the "I Can See" glasses.

When I notice with my eagle parent eyes that underwear is crumbled on the bathroom floor for days, empty used up milk cartons are resting on the refrigerator shelf, dirty dishes are becoming science laboratories in secret spots of bedrooms, I present my teen with something special, the "I Can See" glasses.

I help them place these dark rimmed glasses on their face and ask them to look and see if they find something that needs to be done. Without error, these special glasses have been able to help my teens' eyes narrow in on objects that are not where they belong!

I am so relieved to find out that it is not due to lack of proper parenting, a bad attitude, or raw rebellion! These glasses are so valuable and have ended circular conversations that can lead to mind-bleeding arguments. I have been so impressed that I had to share the success I have had with the "I Can See" glasses.

I will be so happy to send a pair of these glasses to one lucky commenter. It is that simple!

Sunday Sights

Have you seen a church lately? The beautiful Bride of Christ. Do you know her? Does she know you? She isn't a building, an organization, a business or a religion. She is the blushing Bride, the pride and joy of Jesus. She is living, growing, and in love with her Jesus.

Are you committed to His Bride?
Do you know Jesus? Have you seen His precious Bride? Do you spend time with her, help her, commit to being a friend to her for life?

You say, you have heard about Jesus... but you haven't seen Him lately with His Bride. You've visited a local church but something was not right about  about Her... something was missing, like she wasn't a complete Body. She just did seem to act like she knew and belonged to Jesus.

She needs your help. God gifted you so you could offer Her your specialty. Without you she will never be fully what God intended Her to be. She is living, growing, changing. Seasons come and then they go. She will never be the same.

I longed to know Her and be be part of Her life. I heard about Her unconditional love, forgiveness, gentleness and tender loving care. I wanted to come to Her, but I was unsure... would She embrace me... or look beyond me... see past me... reject me.

I dreamed about Her, what I longed for Her to be.

I wanted to run into Her arms today...
where I will be loved, nurtured, listened to, appreciated, prayed for, understood, supported, encouraged, taught, corrected, bound in healing places, walked alongside, forgiven, offered opportunities to step out by faith, to trust, to try, to mess up, to grow, to learn, and given a chance to step out again, maturing in a walk of faith in the Son of God, Jesus.

Have you seen His Church? I wonder how She will treat me? Will His Church hold me, help me, get to know me? I am so committed to Jesus. I wish I knew the love of His Bride.

Am I willing to take a risk, to be committed to Her? Or will I just keep waiting.... waiting for her to... become what I need Her to be.

One Among Many
My heart was opened anew today as I stumbled upon a truly literary achievement in a blog. Legal Intrusion is a first rate blog. While I played around with poetry in high school, this author has mastered the beauty of this skill that only a few rare souls ever accomplish.

While I was clicking around on this site's favorites, I came upon many more highly talented bloggers. The best of these bloggers are not commercial and probably not highly traveled in site traffic, but they are still simply precious elements of our world today.

I hunt in antique stores for just the perfect 100 year old or later book. Wonder if these blogs will remain in time and space for someone 100 years from now - if the Lord tares - to discover. Will our best work during this generation be lost in web-land... filled away on some sector .... pushed back in a dark crevice of a server? Or will these gems be erased - like old discarded library books - even less obtainable because there is no thrift or goodwill store to sell a blog for a few dollars to support some good cause?

Have you lately discovered a Blog of Great Measure? Of course, we, bloggers, have a few of our own to boast about... but have you really read something enlightening, too good to miss, too full to be left empty? If so I would love for you to comment about it, so we can not only share but enjoy.

A few weeks ago I wrote a devotional for an amazing lady that has hosted a year of Godly Gals to her website. I hope you enjoy everything you find on her site.

 Devotions have found me. I did not find them. Well, that is not totally correct. I guess a long time ago, many, many years ago... I wanted to express what I was experiencing about God but had so little time being a mom of young children... this is way before blogging or facebook... in the stone-ages of emailing! I would send out an email once a week to a bunch of people who probably wished I would stop. Do you remember the days of mass emailing? Now I am mostly bombarded by mass company emailing that I detail as soon as I see it.

As column writer Take, Root and Write website, I was asked to try my hand at a devotional column. God has a funny way of getting us to do things we would never do without his nudging. Well, my healing column on this site is coming to a close since the website has been bought by a new owner with a different vision from God.

The column, Abuse and Trauma, Hope and Healing, may find new life on a sister devotional site to Take Root and Write or it might find its resting place at my own blog on my personal journey in healing from trauma. Either way, it will go on because writing is a way I process what God is doing in my soul.

My heart is sad at the end of this season. I wrote this column article with great passion and purpose. The column ideas came to me as easily as dust finds a way to my tabletops or my cat finds the oddest places to take a nap. I never had to dig or try to put together an article. The words begged me to be written, to be birthed from my heart of experience to appear in print. God touched me and in turn I have been allowed to reach others.

Now I am left with the devotional column, Letters From The King. This assignment seems to not want to let go of me although I don't find much birth pangs to get the words out. I feel more like a funnel allowing God to pour through me, not in a saturated way but as a vessels for His thoughts. He talks to me, and I write what I hear. It doesn't much feel like mine at all, but His.

But isn't that so His way.... to strip from us what we own and to leave working what belongs to Him. I am never certain after I write one of these "Letters From The King" if it is quite good or not. It doesn't feel like a burden to has been lifted from me as when I write from my experience. It just feels done.

Can't help but wonder what God is up to now... I must confess I don't always like to learn His lessons. Truthful is not always pretty.  It hurts to give up something longed for or enjoyed. Out With The Old

Do you have junk? Not the kind inside your soul, but in your personal surroundings. Do you ever think about how stuff can weigh you down, hold you back, keep you from being all that God created you to be?

This is exactly what God is teaching me. I went on a craze, almost a passionate obsession of seeing everything as re-usable. It sounds really green to be recycling old things into new usable items, and a lot of fun. My only problem is a kept picking up broken, discarded, unwanted items and saw a purpose for them, a new life. (Sounds like some people I know, llike me...)

Maybe that is why I had such an overall compassion for seeing the good in what most regarded as trash. But collecting trash, old, broken, worn-out, needy things doesn't work if you never have the time or energy to spend with each item to allow it to become a usable treasure. It just stays junk.

I think God is showing me quite a few spiritual applications in my life, but I don't want to spoil the applications that He may be bringing to your mind. Have you been here?

Today I feel great because I was able to fill up two cars with the "old" stuff in my garage and the recipients were so grateful. It was a delight to me, being able to release what is burying me, to allow someone else the opportunity to give it a new life. "You could make money on this," Michael sincerely spoke. "No, no, no, I want to give freely of what I have and in turn God will bless me." I said with delight.

Michael returned from his car with a gift... a large basket-like collection of bath soaps/lotions/salts. Oh, I was so surprised with the instant blessing flowing back. It is just God's way.

"Thank you, thank you, come back and get more anytime. Thank you," I called out as the two young adults pulled out of my driveway. It is refreshing to let go.... Out with the Old... and no, I will not be bringing in anything new. It is time to reduce, not replace.

The Greatest of These

Enjoying a day with my husband of 26 years is something I don't get enough of during this stage of our raising teens life, but yesterday I was with him and he poked fun at me being the only person in the world that would be as excited about reading a 1917 book I found in an antique store.

I unofficially call myself a historian, because I LOVE to read real life accounts of people - not fiction, but true impressions of life as they lived it. I know no better way to experience history in its purest form. And in turn to gain a deeper understanding of what the world must have been like with an eye witness account.

The author, Owen Wister. The book, The Penecost of Calamity. The topic, Germany before and right after world war I. The insight, Hatred was the motivation.

And what was the creed of the German people, their declaration of faith, of decades to be only ratified by actions of destruction of human life...

"The German claim must be: Educate to hate.... Organization of hatred.... Education to the desire for hatred. Let us abolish unripe and false shame.... To us is given faith, hope and hatred; but hatred is the greatest among them."

And it was there, at those last few words, that I paused, recognizing the words and hand of Satan, the destroyer of old, twisting what was pure, lovely, holy to a religion of destruction .... yes, a "religion" and a claim of "God" but not The GOD of the Bible... another "God" altogether different, that likes to masquerade about as Him, always wanting to be superior to Him.

How Much To Share?

 I have been doing some contemplating. Anyone that knows me deeply is now rolling eyes and possibly fallen off their chair and about the ground... because that is an understatement of my life... contemplating...

Do others mull as much as I? I do not know because I only really know what goes on in my own soul. Thoughts, ideas, passion... are ever moving... like dough being kneaded over and over... given time to rise in thought and then punched down to rise again... Do you constantly do this too?

It is not that I doubt my soul. It is that my receptors are usually open, taking in odd bits of information, sensing all about inside and out, and trying to let what doesn't grab me pass along to another day or time.

How much do you share? Do you think it is a result of what you take in ....  think about... read... see? Are am I an endless circle of data on overload? Thinking too much about thinking...

Friends Again - Finding Golden Friends

“Make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver and the other is gold.” As a little girl I sang this traditional Girl Scout song. Long after the meetings, campfires, and badges are a distant memory of my life, I recall singing with a smile on my face and a warmness in my heart, but as a child its lasting value evaded my understanding.

Every occasion presents a new opportunity for God to bring spiritual blessings to our life. We should live life always expecting, in anticipation of what God is going to do. Just a few weeks ago, I stood in the church parking lot so hurt, sharing my heart, crushed by a person in church who lacked grace. After listening, my wise pastor told me not to worry about it, that the person did lack grace, but to hold on because "God is doing a new thing!" Those few words gave me hope to hang my heart on as I walked to my car smiling knowingly repeating those words inside... "God is doing a new thing!"

As Christians we are called to walk in faith and not by sight, a faith that God is always working in our life, always bringing good out of what initially seems bad, like a recent mandatory cleaning day at my children's school. Cleaning a building may not initially sound like good, but it depends on your outlook, and more importantly your sensitivity to God.

The night before, I was with a group of moms that were coming up with every reason in the world to not attend. A conscientious friend, with little enthusiasm, confessed, "I will be going." So I nabbed this as perfect timing provided by God, suggesting, "I can pick you up." "Oh, I would like that because you are always late," she smiled. We laughed at the thought of someone cherishing the fact that they would be not on time.
I have been taught that two things on earth are eternal - people and God's Word. This knowledge has been a foundational building block for my life. When I think about how I am spending my time, I remember to invest in eternity. To accomplish this, I must spent time with people and in God's Word, the true "silver and gold" treasures to cherish in life.

Friend ends I have learned that friends tend to draw near and then over time drift away, with a kind of ebb and flow. I treasure friends, but never entwine so tightly to become dependent. Following a cyclical pattern of close and distant, some friendships end in painful disasters, often through my lacking relationship skills, my desperate desire to have a "best friend", or constantly seeking happiness in others' acceptance.
God has allowed me to bungled more friendships then I care to recall. But in the fallout of each, I endeavor to learn something new so that I will not travel down the same old friendship fallout again.

I have learned I can't always satisfy others' needs. Some people can't take disappointments nor walk along-side a friend through hard times. Some drift due to a disparity in finances, goals or values.   Thankfully not all relationships die a permanent death. Some fall into the pattern of the lyrics of Girl Scout song, "Make new friends, but keep the old, some are silver and the others gold."

The ones that make it to "gold" are the few priceless people who love you even with all of your faults, in spite of all of your weaknesses and withstanding all of your "strengths". They understand that none of us are perfected on this side of heaven. We are a work in construction. We need to be encouraged by God knowing, "He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it."

"Friends Again" are the people who allow us to go through hard growing seasons even if they can't walk through them with us. They put up with our fads, changes in life, and new-found quest. They see value in us even when most people think we are ready to be tossed to the curb. They delight in knowing someone that is authentic - in good times and bad. They allow themselves space to grow, and expect this in others.
Forgiveness is a way of life for anyone that can be a "Friends Again" type of person. They know they are safe to mess up, frustrate, and disappoint; and they extend the same grace to others. They are vulnerable enough to hug, laugh, and cry, knowing life brings a rainbow of emotions that color each of our lives, especially after the floods.

Friends againSo I surprised my friend by pulling up in her driveway right on time to pick her up for our mandatory cleaning day. With smiles, love and chatter we spent three memorable hours cleaning a filthy kitchen and catching up with the lives of other moms and friends. Work is a pleasure when it is shared with the love of friendship.

This particular lady has been too busy for the past few years to meet me for a cup of coffee or a casual visit. She has struggled deeply with the death of her sister to cancer, a move and feeling ineffective as a mom of two teenagers. This plunged her into business to fill the void and provide structure to keep her going.

When we are patient with each other, faithful to remain in the sparse times, we have the blessed gift of becoming "Friends Again". While we are not new friends, we are better. We are friends tested by the purifying fires to make gold! We get the joy of unconditional enduring love.

Houston, We Have A Problem!

Houston, We have a problem! But it may also be the beginning of the solution, if Americans will pay attention and wake up to what Obama is doing to the United States of America.

On April 15, 2010 President Barak Obama spoke at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He vowed an additional $6 billion into NASA's budget over the next five years while halting a project to resume lunar missions known as the Constellation Program. This program intended to be the next space craft to carry equipment to the moon to make human space travel deeper into space more likely providing a launching site for more distant mission.

After his speech, details of what specific programs were going to be selected for this additional $6 billion in NASA funding. Little did we know at that time what all this newly appropriated money was going to be funding.

NASA administrator Charles Bolden says President Obama has ordered him to pursue three new objectives:

When I became the NASA Administrator — before I became the NASA Administrator — [Obama] charged me with three things: One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.
Bolden on June 15, giving a speech in Cairo said, “He asked NASA to change…by reaching out to ‘non-traditional’ partners and strengthening our cooperation in the Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia and in particular in Muslim-majority nations. NASA has embraced this charge.”

“NASA is not only a space exploration agency,” Bolden concluded, “but also an earth improvement agency.”

The Muslim NASA mission is only becoming clearer with time. As most of America is experiencing the Obama, "Yes, We Can" change. Rapidly our government agencies are being directed to change their operational missions. NASA is just one of many examples of the United States Agencies that have been converter by the long arm of Obama as he re-shapes America.

Obama's dangerous New World Order agenda came into focus July 1 as Congress was "shocked and awed" when new organization Al Jazeera released a June 30 interview NASA Chief Administrator Bolden's previous interview with Al Jazeer's Imran Garda on June 17. Bolden was making a visit to mark the first anniversay of President Obama's June 2009 Muslim outreach speech. Obama is keeping his word to Muslims, while he continually lies to Christians and Americans. His policies show he certainly is devoted to pursuing a "new beginning of the relationship between United States and the Muslim world."

Am I living in the twight zone? I just couldn't make this stuff up for a American Horror Fictional Book two years ago. Editors would have laughed me off as a lunatic conspiracy theorist. But once again we are finding out that Obama reality is stranger than any fiction most Americans ever imagined possible. We are literally witnessing the dismantling of our American Government and can only stand by helpless until November 2010 elections take affect in January 2011.

Will American remember how the DEMOCRATS not only allowed but assisted the most unAmerican president in our Nation's history to shred founding principles of our precious country. We the people must never FORGET that Obama could have never done this destruction on his own. He needed his Democrat puppets to legislate his new direction for America, and they have bowed to him over and over again.

During the interview, Bolden told Al Jazeera that the "foremost" mission he had been given by Obama was "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering."

In February 2010 Bolden told a group of engineering students in Florida,said "We really like Indonesia because the State Department, the Department of Education [and] other agencies in the U.S. are reaching out to Indonesia as the largest Muslim nation in the world. We would love to establish partners there." (reported by the Orlando Sentinel in February)

When will American media wake up and become the press the constitution gives them the right to be in the 1st Amendment? If it were not for blogs, newspapers, talk radio, and finally FOX NEWS we might never have become aware of Obama's new NASA mission.

This only makes me wonder what other changes are daily taking place under the radar of the press that once was the watchdog to allowing our president have the powers of a king! Congress needs to work rapidly once new representatives come into office in January 2011 to scrutinize the executive branches every move since January 2009. All records should be subpoenaed for investigation of a hostile take over of our country from within the white house and its long spindly arm.

For space veterans, the controversy is an indication of how far the Obama administration has strayed from NASA's original mission, first laid out in the National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958. This Space Act has guided NASA for more than 50 years without being changed by a President. "NASA was chartered ... to develop the arts and sciences of flight in the atmosphere and in space and to go where those technologies will allow us to go," says Mike Griffin, who headed the space agency from 2005 until 2009.

Houston, We Have a Problem! And it is more serious than our Federal Government taking McDonald's to court to stop happy meal toys.

Our last hope is for Americans to get to the polls and put people in office that will pledge what the signers of our Declaration of independence did:
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
And my fervent prayer to the one and only true God (of the Holy Bible) for Him to have mercy on His remnant church and allow us the honor to restore our country for individual freedom found only in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. On THIS, our Solid Rock we must stand!

I wanted to leave a long comment on her blog. I really did. She's attacked me a few times, most notably for disagreeing with Amanda Read, and it made me want to pay attention to what she had to say. However, my motivation dissolved once I read through the essay in question.

This is depressing. Engaging fundies seems pointless...

I wondered what "fundies" was - so after looking it up I am quite thankful to be counted in this group.

The Spirit of America

The true Spirit of America has not been seen for many years, but it is not dead. Most "mom and pop"s have been distracted working hard to raising their family. They were busy going to ball games, celebrating family occasions, improving in their jobs, and making sure their children got a good education. The Spirit of America by those currently in power in Washington DC is totally misunderstood and underestimated.

Daniel Webster rightly noted: "God grants liberty only to those who love it and are always ready to guard and defend it."

Simple everyday people, your neighbor, friend, and co-worker, have not taken time to be involved in politics because they didn't seek power over others, scheme to steal money from citizens and fellow neighbors, desire to give working people's money to those who would not work, think it was necessary to keep the already green planet green, or to make a fortune keeping the frozen ice caps frozen. They made sure their children had new shoes when the holes appeared, a cake for their birthday, and support in their activities like sports, dance, and music.

But the sleeping GIANT of America has awoken!

About 100 million Americans voted in the Presidential election of 2008, 200 million did not. Now some of this amount are too young too vote or just wont if their life depended on it (and it just may!)....

Something new is happening. Americans are becoming informed. They are watching news, reading blogs and studying books. They are learning the real history of their country they never heard before in any public school classroom, and they are determined to take their country back from the "law ignoring" lying politicians who are bankrupting our country and tearing apart the foundation of what our constitution established.

For many years Americans have lost their course. They have been wild spenders and debtors. They thought they could make it on their own without God. Killing children with abortion became commonly accepted, even allowing the murder of the infant as soon as he/she was delivered, in partial birth abortion. Sleeping in on Sunday and taking in the football game was more common than reading the Bible and sacrificing when God asked. The tide is turning. Americans have been shaken awake ... they can only ignore injustice so long... that time has come!

Pastors are slowly but surely calling pew-warmers to get serious about their walk with God and to repent for our sin, both personal and National.

Our borders are broken and our citizens are at risk. Wars are battling in our border towns. Our brave young men are fighting overseas in a war that has become political putting their lives in danger. Idol worship temples are being built in many towns in the name of tolerance. American babies are being murdered through abortion. The Federal Government has become a money-sucking octopus illegally taking over every part of life.

Our children are being indoctrinated revisionist history about how horrible American forefathers behaved and have been forced to swallow the lie that people evolved from apes billions of years ago without any Intelligent Design by God. And now we have a President that believes it is his duty to steal money from the rich and to give it to his cronies and the "poor" lazy people who wont get up and work for a living.

The American mindset has a particular genius - We are not defeated by obstacles and we accomplish "impossibles" with great efficiency fueled by our belief that with the Almighty God this statement is truth: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). We believe all people are just under one Creator God, and everyone is under the rule of common laws. Life is just, not fair. It always has been and always will be.

Americans know when humans are touched by Divine power greatness is released. This is the greatest success factor in any undertaking. Victory is the only American cry from the patriots' heart, they do not except defeat, because they know to get back up, stand with God and go again in a way that is right in His eyes. Surrender to difficulties in life is not part of the American mentality. We are survivors, and will make the most out of what little we have when survival requires it. Our secret of our achievement is faith in God. We positively know God's will triumphs in and through us when we are obedient to His Word.

We must never forget - "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!" America will rise again to be the greatest Nation on earth and will lead others to experience freedom under God.

Are you ready to take the pledge of those who stood up to make the colonies free from the overbearing, life-controlling, restrictive Governing of the British King? Can you pledge these words that are at the bottom of our Declaration of Independence as the original signers did for this Nation?

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

It takes courage, honor and love. Do you, by the grace of God, possess what it takes?

Who is Keeping Minorities "Under Their Thumb"?

Today, July 4, 2010 Americans equally protected under our constitutional law celebrate being a citizen of a great country and heroic past of laboring steadfastly to gain and keep freedoms.

But there are those in America today that feel they have been excluded from the hope of the "American Dream," and I say rightly so.

Many minorities in our country are being held down to menial odds of truly experiencing life, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness. Who is keeping the minorities "under their thumb"? Read on to find out.

Look to the people in power who want to give a handout instead of a hand up. As long as they give a handout (welfare type programs) they can keep people groups under their control. If you want a person to have equal opportunity you teach the person how to fish, you don't give them a fish a day.

Who is pushing to keep citizens, especially poor, dependent on those in power, instead of teaching them how to become independent and free?

Who rallies around the concept of having the Government (those in power) provide all needs for people from birth to death... housing, food, education, health care, abortions, allowing all languages (including ghetto and Spanish) to be considered acceptable in schools?

At first, it appears caring, and "big-hearted" to be giving the poor and minorities everything they need. Who doesn't want to win the lottery of having life paid housing, food, education, health care, and the ability to not have to learn the English language but to keep your own? What may sound like a great deal is really keeping people enslaved to government!

Do you get to choose where you want to live when you live in government housing? Do you get to plant a garden or decorate your home? Do you earn equity? Do you eventually own personal land as property so that you can have a place to retire when you are in your old years?

No! You loose all these liberties when you opt to take government housing handouts for life. You loose, but those in power control your home-life condition for as long as you survive in the rough conditions (drugs, gangs, violence, rape, abortion, alcoholism, abuse) of government housing. 

If government housing is so great why don't the politician wanting to provide it move their families into one? You have got to be kidding, they live in exclusive private neighborhoods in homes that cost more than the average citizen will make in a lifetime.

Now we are in the third and fourth generation of families who have never owned property and never will because they have no incentive to work hard for it. They have no inheritance to pass onto their children. They can't see that "free housing" comes at a high cost, and takes away a lot of freedoms.

So what about food stamps, this should be so clearly understood through the old proverb of "if you give a person a fish they eat one day but if you teach them to fish they eat for life." Everyone needs help from a neighbor during hard times, but living on government food provisions, take away freedoms.

When a person goes to shop thinking their food is free they often don't choose the best diet, they pick the fast processed food. They often don't learn how to cook or how to produce their own food or how to can food to preserve for a later date.

When a person does not have to work for their food they become lazy. "Those who don't work, should not eat" is a simple godly principle for a good reason. Working for food benefits the person by giving them self-esteem, independence, and more choices.

What again appears to be a wonderful gift is really a way to keep a group of people dependent on those in power for their daily bread. This should not be so! Food stamps take away freedom, they don't build an ability to produce and provide for your own meals.

Free education from preschool to college sounds like a winning opportunity, but is it really? When you turn your children over to be educated by the government you give the government total control over what your child will be taught.

Do you have a say into what books your child studies, what curriculum your child learns, what worldview your child is taught? No, and today, in many schools you barely have the freedom to walk into the school much less hear what is being taught.

When my daughter was in second grade and didn't have a chair to sit in her science class, she and I were scolded by the teacher for her telling me and not handling it own her without needing her mother involved to help her. I was told I was fostering dependence on me. How odd... the school teachers want my child to be dependent on them not their parents.

When my children were in public school I never met the middle school teachers. I couldn't believe that teachers only had time to meet with parents whose children were failing or were causing problems. I couldn't believe a teach would not want to know the student's parents and to partner with them in their child's education. Parents today are often looked at as being ignorant, even if they have college degrees, because they are not a government educator. Is this freedom of education? No! It is government controlled indoctrination of our youngest citizens.

While I do know there are some wonderful public schools that are cherished places of education for the lucky students that get to attend, the mass of public school education is below what every parent seeking a future for the child would desire. And who is in the worst schools in America? Minorities, blacks, Hispanics, etc. are often in the roughest of schools.

Even in the great north states that tout opportunities for the least of these, keep their rich white children in their all white county schools and feel virtuous as they cross town to tutor the poor minority kids in the schools that have often have lower quality buildings, supplies, staff.

Now this is a broad statement to not be taken out of context - I am not saying all minority government school in poorer districts are below par school, but absolutely there is a huge difference between mostly all white, rich neighborhood school districts and poorer ones.

Why don't those in power, in the government, send their precious children to the schools they expect the poor and minorities to attend? Is free public education the wonderful ticket to the promise land of American prosperity? Government run programs always come at a high cost to freedoms, and equality of quality to all.

Parents are always the best teacher for their children, and should have a lot of input and opportunities/incentives for involvement in their child's education.  Public education that is locally run is so much more effective, because the very parents of the students have a high interest in the kind and quality of school their child will attend.

When immigrants are allowed to retain their homeland language instead of learning English, they are not being given a benefit. They are being guaranteed that they will never become a CEO, a politician, or a influential part of the American society. Children who are allowed to speak a ghetto-type language are not being helped .

They are being ensured that they will always be dependent on government to take care of them because they can't easily integrate into the working middle class and join the property ownership part of society. Not learning English as the only language taught in school is a tool used to keep certain people groups from ever rising high through the freedoms and dreams available in America education, and future opportunities.

So who is this group of people that are keeping minorities "under their thumb" for life? Look no further than the ruling Democrats and Progressive. They tout freedom and love for minorities but they are also the party of jim crow laws, abortion, handouts/welfare, KKK and every other measure to keep their control over the individual lives of Americans that should be guaranteed freedoms of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Be Clear on What McCrystal really said in the Rolling Stones Article

Have you read the Rolling Stones article? or Have you just heard talking heads, news stories, Obama administration response, McCrystal's apology, Brit Hume's outrage, Rush's defense, and Gibb's response that McCrystal was questionably not "capable and mature enough" to be general over Afghanistan?

Try to think for yourself, is McCrystal the victim of journalist hype? If you read the article notice magazine’s editors that call the White House “wimps”, and it is the author that uses almost every f-word in the piece, gratuitously, gratingly, and not while quoting anyone. The only f-word used by someone else is a Brit saying how much some people love McChrystal’s habit of showing up on patrol.

To make it easier to skim I made all content spoken by McCrystal or what advisor's thought and in red what article author Hasting claims in a hearsay manner without source or quote...just Hastings own personal ideas/impressions are. (Is this what journalism is?)

I know, if you are like most, you don't like to read or probably will never read the WHOLE article. I read the whole article, and so should you if you want to talk about it. So read the whole article if you really want to make up your mind about McCrystal's guilt.Rolling Stone Article

Well, here is the first page. Really try to, at least, read it...the other 5 pages have no quotes by McCrystal about Obama that I saw and really made McCrystal out to be a wild, cold, military-killing-driven man now General of Afghanistan.

Let's be clear on what IS in the Rolling Stones Article. Here is page one of a 6 page online article titled, "The Runaway General":
The general stands and looks around the suite that his traveling staff of 10 has converted into a full-scale operations center. The tables are crowded with silver Panasonic Toughbooks, and blue cables crisscross the hotel's thick carpet, hooked up to satellite dishes to provide encrypted phone and e-mail communications.

Dressed in off-the-rack civilian casual – blue tie, button-down shirt, dress slacks – McChrystal is way out of his comfort zone.

Paris, as one of his advisers says, is the "most anti-McChrystal city you can imagine." The general hates fancy restaurants, rejecting any place with candles on the tables as too "Gucci."

He prefers Bud Light Lime (his favorite beer) to Bordeaux, Talladega Nights (his favorite movie) to Jean-Luc Godard. Besides, the public eye has never been a place where McChrystal felt comfortable: Before President Obama put him in charge of the war in Afghanistan, he spent five years running the Pentagon's most secretive black ops.

"What's the update on the Kandahar bombing?" McChrystal asks Flynn. The city has been rocked by two massive car bombs in the past day alone, calling into question the general's assurances that he can wrest it from the Taliban.

"We have two KIAs, but that hasn't been confirmed," Flynn says.

McChrystal takes a final look around the suite. At 55, he is gaunt and lean, not unlike an older version of Christian Bale in Rescue Dawn. His slate-blue eyes have the unsettling ability to drill down when they lock on you. If you've fucked up or disappointed him, they can destroy your soul without the need for him to raise his voice.

"I'd rather have my ass kicked by a roomful of people than go out to this dinner," McChrystal says.

He pauses a beat.

"Unfortunately," he adds, "no one in this room could do it."

With that, he's out the door.

"Who's he going to dinner with?" I ask one of his aides.

"Some French minister," the aide tells me. "It's fucking gay."

The next morning, McChrystal and his team gather to prepare for a speech he is giving at the École Militaire, a French military academy. The general prides himself on being sharper and ballsier than anyone else, but his brashness comes with a price: Although McChrystal has been in charge of the war for only a year, in that short time he has managed to piss off almost everyone with a stake in the conflict.

Last fall, during the question-and-answer session following a speech he gave in London, McChrystal dismissed the counterterrorism strategy being advocated by Vice President Joe Biden as "shortsighted," saying it would lead to a state of "Chaos-istan."

The remarks earned him a smackdown from the president himself, who summoned the general to a terse private meeting aboard Air Force One. The message to McChrystal seemed clear: Shut the fuck up, and keep a lower profile.

Now, flipping through printout cards of his speech in Paris, McChrystal wonders aloud what Biden question he might get today, and how he should respond. "I never know what's going to pop out until I'm up there, that's the problem," he says. Then, unable to help themselves, he and his staff imagine the general dismissing the vice president with a good one-liner.

"Are you asking about Vice President Biden?" McChrystal says with a laugh. "Who's that?"

"Biden?" suggests a top adviser. "Did you say: Bite Me?"

When Barack Obama entered the Oval Office, he immediately set out to deliver on his most important campaign promise on foreign policy: to refocus the war in Afghanistan on what led us to invade in the first place. "I want the American people to understand," he announced in March 2009. "We have a clear and focused goal: to disrupt, dismantle and defeat Al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan." He ordered another 21,000 troops to Kabul, the largest increase since the war began in 2001.

Taking the advice of both the Pentagon and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he also fired Gen. David McKiernan – then the U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan – and replaced him with a man he didn't know and had met only briefly: Gen. Stanley McChrystal.

It was the first time a top general had been relieved from duty during wartime in more than 50 years, since Harry Truman fired Gen. Douglas MacArthur at the height of the Korean War.

Even though he had voted for Obama, McChrystal and his new commander in chief failed from the outset to connect. The general first encountered Obama a week after he took office, when the president met with a dozen senior military officials in a room at the Pentagon known as the Tank.

According to sources familiar with the meeting, McChrystal thought Obama looked "uncomfortable and intimidated" by the roomful of military brass. Their first one-on-one meeting took place in the Oval Office four months later, after McChrystal got the Afghanistan job, and it didn't go much better.

"It was a 10-minute photo op," says an adviser to McChrystal. "Obama clearly didn't know anything about him, who he was. Here's the guy who's going to run his fucking war, but he didn't seem very engaged. The Boss was pretty disappointed."
So this is what we are to be so mad about --

Hastings makes things seem worse by interspersing his own editorial commentary and including lots of damning quotes from people outside McChrystal’s team.

Hasting is best known for his memoir book he wrote after his girlfriend died in a suicide bombing on the streets of Iraq. He is not a very prolific or highly experienced professional journalist. I noted a lot in red because without a direct name quoted, it is hearsay. I have watched too much Judge Judy! I writer can put his thoughts and impression in an article if he can back it up with solid facts, not un-named advisor, someone, an aide, a person in the room.... come on now... PLEASE, just the facts, Reporter Hasting, just the facts.

So you read and make the call. What was the horrible statement made by McCrystal about the President and his administration? Help me please because I didn't find it. If you read the whole story and find the quote I missed , please put it in the comments.

And McCrystal says a lot and much is negatively recorded by the writer who is a freelance, want-a-be-famous author, Hasting said about McCrystal in the article.

I don't know McCrystal, but what I have read of him - he is a career special ops, on the ground professional, get-the-job-done soldier. He doesn't seem like a General that would throw his soliders under the bus. The quotes of his inner team seem to state that he is one of them in the war field, he can still be seen fighting side by side with infantry, and he is known as a leader that would die for his men.

He doesn't seem like a political man, a snow-job, gentler-kinder, beat-around-the-bush, kind of leader. He is a WYSIWYG type of guy. You get to know him - the good, the bad, and the ugly... because he isn't a fake... and doesn't pretends one way for one group and another way for his closest inner group.

I don't know if he is a good general, but he clearly is brave, courageous and willing to get dirty in life and death situations to serve our country in the military. I don't think he asked to be the General of this conflict. He was picked by our President. And there is no way Obama can blame this one on Bush, but wonders never cease so I am sure they are figuring out a way....

Read for yourself, think for yourself, don't believe what you are being told....

This is my total opinion - but if McCrystal really was putting his career on the chopping block, to save the lives of military men and women caught in a war strategy without a victory plan trying to win, to get our military home. Nation building never, NEVER, works... we can throw billions of dollars and thousands of American military lives, it will never gain our trust to the citizens of Afghanistan.

If our military on the ground are telling their general that they have their hands tied, they have to be too concerned about relationships and civilian protection instead of cleaning out the Taliban..... I say "Game Over"! Bring our volunteer men and women in uniform home, don't play political games with their lives.
